Teen Driver Information

Our courses run on a three week rotation. Students are eligible to join into a program once they have reached the age of sixteen. The thirty hour class program covers all the information inside the manual, the state required drug & alcohol course, as well as an extensive test used to monitor a student’s progress and prepare the student for the actual law exam for his or her learner permit. A textbook is provided at no additional cost.

In addition to the comprehensive sessions, our program offers the student eight hours of private road instruction. Once a student has their permit, road sessions may be scheduled. Our instructors teach everything from parking, to city driving, to special winter training.

Students are required to go directly to the D.M.V. to obtain a Connecticut State Drivers Permit if they are sixteen or seventeen years old. It is our strongest recommendation that students participate in an approved drivers education program for at least three weeks before...
